Charlene's Story
Life
I currently live in Ashburn, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC, with my husband Greg and our two daughters Jene'(14)and Savannah(13), and of course our dogs, Cognac (who died at 17), Kahlua (7), Chivas (2) andRemy (3 months) and our two birds Stoli and Lemon Drop.
I work for one of the largest aerospace and defense firms in the world as the vice president of Communications and I also run one of our facilities that houses 1,200 people on 700,000 square feet of office and lab space.

BM. For a while I was cheerleader for the Washington Redskins for four years, but now that seems a lifetime ago. Later I earned an MA in Communications from American University and I am currently studying for an MBA.
I was selected last year by Diversity Profiles Magazine as a national"Woman Worth Watching" (whatever that means) and recently was named of Washington DC's "Women Who Mean Business." I figure they must be scraping the bottom of the barrel!
But, of course my pride and joy are my husband and kids, as you might guess. And, of course spending time with my best friend and her family, Kelly (Kirby) Strzelecki who live in the Baltimore, MD area.
