Nicole's Story
Well twenty-four years have passed by. It reminds me of the song "you're gonna miss this" by Trace Adkins. Things have changed alot, I have two girls, five cats, and a boxer. I am currently unemployed, I was at Akzo Nobel in Norcross. Since then I have been self contracting in accounting and finance. I have worked on sell/ lease agreements, banking arrangements, software implementation and migration, divestitures, construction/HUD compliance, property management, debt/capital structuring, contract negotiations, franchise agreements, procurement, etc.
I live in Walnut Grove, GA. I went to Stone Mountain HS for my freshman and sophomore years, then transfered to South Gwinnett HS and graduated 1984. Through life I worked two jobs on many occasions, lost my mom to suicide, had a child with cancer, built a house as GC, owned and operated several companies, worked for a few companies that no longer believe in loyalty, realized my worth, invested in real estate in five states, became an antique car buff and wrench turner, obtained three degrees and passed my CPA. Through it all, I became who I am...Expand for more
, building character. I can withstand or overcome any obstacle, I found out that I am a very strong independent female.
Now, married since Aug 4th to a great guy that graduated class of 1996 Parkview High school, Blake Longenecker. My youngest daughter is 15 years old and I am looking forward to travel time. I have traveled extensively in the mid-west to west coast. Some travel was work related, but I always found time to take a few days for me. I have been known to disappear for two weeks at a time. Whether deep sea fishing or hiking, I am at home.
Like I stated I like antique cars, I have a 63 Ford Galaxie 500 with a 390 bored 30 over, fourth passing gear, 3.55 positive traction rearend, painted in candy with Hopster wheels, frame off restoration. I also enjoy hiking, that goes back to the trips out west where I enjoyed visiting the national parks and the Pacific coast trail. I have also hiked about a fourth of the AT, spent days in the mountains, in the desert, in the narrows of Mount Zion National Park, the Grand Canyon, etc. If you want to know more, email me....until next time.....
