Lonnie's Story
Life
I left Alaska in the middle of my senior year and moved to Ft Dix,NJ where I attended Pemberton Township HS. After graduation from HS I was drafted into the US Army. My time was spent in Berlin in Bravo Company of the 18TH Infantry.After getting discharged I began working for the Army & Air Force Exchange Service. That job took me around the USA and Canada and finally back to Europe. I was assigned to England for 2 years and then moved to Augsburg, Germany for another 4 years. After 30 years with AAFES I took an early retirement.I worked as a REALTOR in the great state of Texas in the DFW area and in the Beautiful state of Utah. I am married. I have six children between us.We also have six grandchildren and another on its way. For recreation we enjoy playing golf and traveling. We lived in Guam for three years and visited Japan,Korea and Australia. We enjoy our family and friends.
Currently Chris and I are full time RV'ers. We've been on the road going on two years. We have traveled from the west coast via ID,WA,OR,AZ,NM,TX,LA, MS,AL,FL,GA,SC,VA,WVA,MD,PA,NY and VT to visit family & friends. We have visited our children and grandchildren on the east coast in SC,MD,PA and NY. We spent the summerof '08 in Vermont. We are currently wintering in SC and will be heading back to the west coast in the fall of '09.
