Victor's Story
I graduated in 1989 and quickly enrolled at Cal State LA to start on my degree. After the first quarter, I found out I could not afford college. I joined the Air Force to take advantage of the GI Bill, and mainly played soccer for the Air Force and US Armed Forces Soccer Team for 6 years. In 1996 I left the Air Force and went back to Cal State LA on a Soccer Scholarship and finished my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. I worked at the Universal Studios Online...Expand for more
department until 911 happened and we got shut down. This whole time I'd been playing around with Urban music and was at the right place at the right time and got a record deal with a Major label, Univision Records. I travelled Europe, Central America, and most of the US performing. The band was even nominated for a Latin Billboard award for Best Urban Album. I currently have a small software company that pays the bills, but still keep ties in the music industry.
