Lora's Story
Since moving from Gages Lake in the early 90's, I went to school at various locations, due to moving, and finally am working on my degree at CLC to become an electrical/mechanical engineer. Currently working as an engineer for a company in Waukegan and I live in Lakemoor by McHenry in my own home. My last child, Cassie, is 12 in 7th grade and will be going to college or as she stated 'Joining the military", we will see. She is currently cheer leading in a private facility & competing monthly at different locations. Thta's fun! My middle girl, Shannon, is 21 and had her first child Jan. 12th 2010 and my oldest at 25, Steven, has 2 children, a boy Kenneth and Girl Katy, and he is going to CCU for his doctorate in Colorado. My last personal "just for me" goal after all that was to take the motorcycle course and get my license and I did just this year! Love to read, ride bikes, motorized and non, horse back riding, walking trails in different parks, waterparks, and movies with family and friends. Pool parties in the summer and BBQ's are an all time favorite!
I always wanted to be a makeup artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
Not even close! LOL.....

ork out or a hot shower.
My heroe is my father for all he has done for me and the kids.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Melissa Priddy, because we were best friends for 2 years or more. I think I let a boy come between us.....
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Diane Lubkeman, because we were also we were also best friends for years. SUCCESS! I had a visit with her! AWESOME!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my deck on the back and add on a hot tub. My dream home would be somewhere in the mountains.
My current age is 40. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be so old. I was so completely wrong and immature.
My best friend would tell you I'm outgoing and funny, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as very personable but a little on the aggressive side. Ooops.
In 10 years, I hope to be making a lot more money. I'm going to get there by advancing and accelerating in my career by getting that degree and going farther yet.
My first job was at Wendys Oasis on 94, where I got paid 4.25 to cook fries. What I remember most about it is Chip Hower, Stevens dad worked with me. I had a blast working there and he gave me a ride and he had a cool car, a 69 chevelle!
