Current Career
Revitalizing my Copywriting and Public Relations skills. Project Management also added to my skills portfolio.
Life
I go by my middle name, Patrick or Pat. In 1971 I graduated from Clover Park Voc-Tech with a diploma in Broadcast Studio Skills and Broadcast Electronics plus, earned my First Class FCC broadcast license (Now called a General Radio Telephone License).
High School Education
My high school time resulted in simultaneously receiving my high school diploma from Lakes High School and the diploma from the Voc-Tech school. I was physically located full-time at the Voc-Tech school and earned my high school credits through a special program the school district offered. This is why you won't find me in any Lakes High School year books. However, a few of my friends attended Lakes High at the tiime - Mary LeLande & Hal Stalvik.
Other High School Friends
Several of my other friends attended Clover Park High School and Bethel High School during the same timeframe. Plus, I knew a lot of folks via DeMolay and their events with members of the Jobs Daughters and Rainbow Girls organizations.
Military
Next, following some work in broadcast, I joined the U.S. Air Force, got married, and was stationed in Arkansas. While in Arkansas I upgraded my amateur radio license from Novice to General Class.
After finishing a second hitch in the Air Force, I entered college and double majored in journalism and anthropology. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in 3 years and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Communications Career
I spent some time as a journalist - reporter, photographer, editer - for...Expand for more
several small newspapers. Then I moved back to Washington State, settling in the Seattle area. I briefly did some newspaper and magazine work, then taught journalism at a community college before joining a large aerospace company as a technical writer-editor.
Technical Communications
Following 13-1/2 years of technical writing & editing for engineers, and some technical computing and system development work, I moved into a Computing Systems Analyst job in the company. As a Computing System Analyst, I support the on-going maintenance and development of a very large engineering information system.
Business Education
I finally made enough time for myself to enter a Master's degree program and earned my Master's in Business Management. Now, I am in the process of getting ready to enter the next phase of my career and likely return to Public Relations and Copywriting.
Junior High School
Looking to contact Cynthia Rae Clark (Maiden name is Clark) and nickname was "Cindy". She attended Woodbrook Jr. High about 1965 - 1966 (7th and 8th grade). Her father was stationed at McChord Air Force Base and was re-assigned to March or Travis A.F.B. California about the summer of 1966.
Cynthia had several younger siblings, one was a brother named or nicknamed "Truckee" or "Tuckee". Cynthia had a southern dialect "drawl" possibly lived at one time in Kentucky, or another southern U.S. state.
Cynthia's father was a widower or divorcee and was raising the kids by himself.
If you know her, or what has become of her, please contact me.
High School
Looking for Kimberly Ann Clark (Maiden name Clark) who lived in Spanaway, WA and attended Bethel High School from about 1969 - 1970 or 1971. She lived on a farm. Her father unexpectedly died of a heart attack during her Junior year of high school.
