Life
Hi folks! Enjoying the weather in southwest Florida. Sail often, work part time as a nurse in cardiac I.C.U. I have 2 children ages 30 and 24 and no grandchildren on the horizon. Happy, tan, and can't quite believe 35 years have passed. Enjoy hearing from all of the old friends from BTHS. My partner Mel and I sail locally and to some of the islands. We just upgraded our old Santana '30 to a Hunter '34 and had a great adventure bringing her home from Jacksonville Fl, through the keys, and back up to Cape Coral. x. Spent some time in March in the Abacos on a boat owned by Monique (Margaret Komarek) Guffy. Planning on sailing back to the Bahamas for Feb and March with a couple of cruisers from our sailing club. Just another day in paradise but who'd a thunk life would be so grand?????
Additionally we race our boat competitively in both distance and buoy races. This year we placed 3rd in the summerset race from Ft Myers Beach to Naples. It's hard on the boat but keeps us in shape. We're blessed with a great crew and beautiful scenery with loggerhead turtles and dolphin galore.
