Loree's Story

Married Mike McComb directly after graduation - Raised our 3 kids in the San Bernardino Mtns. where I worked as a clinical laboratory office manager, lab assistant before becoming an office manager for a dermatologist in Redlands - Mike was tragically killed in a helicopter accident at Griffith Park while on duty with LAFD 3-23-1998. We were married just over 30 years. I've moved around a bit since his death - Lived in Westlake Village for 3 years, 5 wonderful years in Western Wyoming in the most beautiful country in the U.S. - Just below Jackson....Now residing in a small rural village just outside of Albuqerque. grandkids (the oldest granddaughter begins Annapolis in June) - My passion is photography and travel - I've been to Tanzania (which I love and would go back in an instant), parts of Europe, the Caribbean and travelled with National Geographic on an ice breaker into the Arctic Circle (500 miles from the North Pole) in search of polar bears. I've been to almost every state in the Union - Love Alaska & Canada - Headed to Italy this Fall but hoping to get with National Geographic again to Antartica. Doing a Trans Atlantic Cruise Nov. 2010 because I've always wanted to criuse across the Pond. Got to go while we can still walk!
