Loretta's Story
Life
After high school and 1 year of jr. college, where I majored in music, I got married. We had five daughters and got divorced about 15 years later. I moved to New Jersey about 10 years later to be with the man who became my second husband. A month after we were married he had surgery and ended up in a coma. He died 3 years later. I stayed in New Jersey for 19 years because I liked where I lived. I moved back to CA in 2002 to be near my kids and grandkids. I have 6 grandkids. While in NJ, I acquired 4 cats. One died just before I moved back to CA. He was 17 or 18. Last year 2 more died, also 17 or 18. At that point I got 2 house rabbits. My surviving kitty died a few months ago ...Expand for more
but I now have 3 house rabbits who are very sweet. We are now an all vegetarian household. I still like music and play the flute and recorder. I played guitar in hight school but have hardly touched it since. I played hammered dulcimer for about 3 years while in New Jersey but am out of practice now. For the 10 years that I was divorced I square danced several times a week. That was where I met my second husband. I also folk dance, contra dance and English country dance. In high school, I was a member of the Spanish Club. Tomorrow I'm going to enroll in a conversation Spanish class to try to recover what I have forgotten.
Update: I no longer have bunnies but I have 4 formerly feral kitties.
