I left Oklahoma for the United States Navy. I was stationed in Jacksonville Fl. I served 4 years active duty & 4 years inactive reserves. I was a reservist during Desert Storm. I went back to college and now a Registered Nurse. I currently am the Case Manager At Signature Healthcare of Jacksonville. I've been there for 8 yrs. Was recently the 3-11 supervisor & admissions nurse for 6 of those 8 yrs. I love living in Florida! I've met so many new & interesting people. I've taken care of many interesting people as a nurse. I was attached to two training squadrons while I was in the Navy. It was exciting working on the flightline of Attack Squadron 174 "The ...Expand for more
Hellrazors." I was also attached to VFA 106 Gladiators. I've been on 3 different aircraft carriers,USS Coral Sea CV43 ,USS Kennedy CV67 & USS Eisenhower CVN 69. I wasn't stationed on them, went out when the new pilots in our squadron needed to learn touch & goes. In civillian speak, taking off & landing on a carrier. My last year & a half I worked for the Commander Light Attack Wing One, which was the Commander of all attack air wings on Cecil Field. One of the only 2 Master Jet Bases on the East Coast. Cecil Field now decommished, on the West side of Jacksonville. I've seen & done some exciting things for a little quiet girl from Del City/Oklahoma City.
