Loretta's Story
I am married and had 3 children. I had 2 handsome boys which both enlisted in the Army, and both went to Iraq at the same time for one year. The youngest of the two had to exit on a medical discharge due to getting hurt in Iraq, he lives here in Corpus Christi, Texas. The eldest is still in the Army and stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. He wants to retire from the Army. I have a beautiful daughter, which is studying to become a registered nurse, and possibly a nurse practioner. I am currently working at Texas A&M University and hope to transfer out to a state job in Colorado in about 3 years. I would like to open a business of some sort upon returning home. aybe bring some southern cuisine. I have several ideas, I have not made up my mind which one I will do. I plan to go back home and stay home, it is way too hot down here in Texas. I love doing yard work, I like to get out of the house and go shopping, go to the park, and when I go home I will definetly go to the mountains. I miss all the beauty that is there in the mountains and there in Colorado Springs. When you live a place where it is just "Blahhh" no beauty, you want to go where there is beauty. I love to cook, some baking, and I love to make "good ole BBQ" with south texas style trimmings....hmmmmm sabroso....maybe I will see some of you when I return.
