Lori's Story
My Story? Been with the same man for a little over 26 years... still not married - no sense rocking the boat now. We buy farm land (we don't actually farm ourselves) I still love horses and ride whenever I can - I have a huge garden, I play banjo (clawhammer style - the style Grandpa Jones played) I love to fish, hike, bowl, drink, play cards, party with friends - but don't do enough of any of those things. I live on a farm in Circleville (of all places) and discovered the scary fact that I may be a "cat" person after all. I have 5 barn cats (all fixed except the male) Spend the winters in Arizona. I am on facebook, but rarely use it cause I can't figure out who is talking to who! Thats my story and I'm sticking to it!
UPDATE 2012: Well this sucks I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April and am fighting the good fight. Prognosis is good. Sure makes ya think about the past a lot! m over halfway thru treatment and it has been going pretty good for me..(no horrible side effects) Anyway prolly more than any of you wanted to know but this is what is going on in MY life (maybe your troubles don't seem so bad huh?)
UPDATE 2013: All clear for take off to Ireland in June to ride the "BIG" horses. Cant wait!
UPDATE AUGUST 2013: Well my hair is growing back curly. I spent two weeks riding the big horses cross country in Ireland and plan on going back next year as well. Cancer still in remission. I have plenty of things left to do on MY bucket list and I'm checking them off. Headed to AZ then to ride a Wyoming cattle drive in the Spring. Summer I hope to be fishing in Canada then back to Ireland in the fall. UPDATE 2015. Had a bad year. Became a bride and a widow in the same week. Lost my husband 6 months ago. Bought a horse and been showing him to pass the time...just returned from a working cattle ranch in Wyoming with my sister Lyn. We had a great time. I will return there in Sept. Cancer still in remission. Trying to keep a smile on my face and a song in my heart.
