Life After graduating from Madison, I continued on to SWT. Where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and took a job as an elementary school teacher in Killeen, TX. While working a K-2 split, I met my husband who was at Ft. Hood on a business trip from Ft. Monmouth, NJ. After 4 months of dating we got engaged. We purchased a home in Lakewood NJ, and upon closing on the house, I interviewed for a special Ed. teaching position and was hired on the spot, actually beating out 1000 applicants! I went back to Killeen, packed up, and immediately moved to New Jersey. We enjoyed 5 years in Lakewood, had our first child, Kara Lynn and I enjoyed being a full time mom. We found a lot and built a new home 30 minutes south in a town called Manahawkin, where we currently reside. We now have 3 children: Kara-8, Nolan-6 and Karli-3. I enjoy staying home with the children and I am currently very successful in The Pampered Chef business. I enjoy conducting live kitchen shows 8-10 times a month and it has proavided us with an amazing income, trips and incredible kitchen tools. Most recently I added another career and went back to teaching. I was offered a Kindergarten teaching position in our town Elementary school and have enjoyed being at the school with the three kids.
