Lori's Story
Since finishing high school, I have basically been around the world and back. In 83 I joined the Air Force. I was in San Antonio TX at Lackland AFB for basic training in June and July. From there, I went to Biloxi, MS to Keesler AFB for tech school. My first assignment was at Williams AFB in Chandler AZ. I was there for 5 years. In September of 88, I went to Okinawa Japan and was stationed at Kadena AB. I was there for almost 2 years. I returned to PA for a few months and then on to NC where I got married to John. We lived in Havelock NC for 3 years. John was stationed at Cherry Point. From there we went to Iwakuni Japan to Iwakuni AB for 3 years. While stationed there, John was selected for instructor duty and we were sent to Lawton, OK to Fort Sill Army Base. We have been here for 11 years now. John retired and we both have jobs on Fort Sill. I am a Management Analyst for the Director of Public Works and enjoy my job. On our off time when we aren't otherwise busy, we enjoy riding our motor cycles and basically having a good time. "They say life starts at 40" and boy are they right!!
