Lori's Story
Life
After graduating early from High School in 1982 (yes, I had so many extra credits from Lewis Palmer High School, when we moved to Colorado Springs and I ended up graduating from William J. Palmer High School instead, which was such a nice suprise!!)...anyway, I got married in October 1982, then the next year God blessed my husband and I with a perfect baby boy! And 2 years after that with a perfect baby girl! Our lives have been so full and blessed! We moved to the Tulsa, OK. area in 1997 so that my hubby could finish bible college.
It has been a wonderful location to raise our children through their teen years, and they grew up to be such awesome adults. They were both valedictorians of their graduating classes in high school. Our son is in pre-med now, and 24 years old. He was married this March 2007 to a precious girl named Rachel, who just happened to be his little sister's best friend in High School. No babies for them in the near future.....Expand for more
..but Mom can't wait!! Our daughter was also in college studying to get a degree in psychology, when she was swept off her feet and got married to her hubby 2.5 years ago. They just had their first baby this summer, our first grandson!!! They both grew up to be awesome adults, and we just couldn't be more proud of them!!!
Jeff and I are really enjoying our new empty nest....but it has taken me awhile to adjust. It's pretty hard when that time comes from having a full house, to a quiet house of 2. But, we are adjusting and loving every minute together. We thought it might be a good idea to start breeding puppies this year.....hahahaha, wow....I don't really know what we were thinking. I got too attached to the puppies, and we still have 5 out of the 11 our female Labrador had. So yes, I guess we still have a full house, just filled differently now!
Well that's about it for now, please write me and let me know how you are all doing these days.
