Lori's Story
January of '79, I finished high school to attend Youth With A Mission in Switzerland, Italy and Greece. Had the travel bug. Attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Don't ask. Should have never left my beautiful state but I did make lifetime friends -- it's just a bummer having to go back to the midwest to visit them. Spent one very difficult year studying Russian Lit. at Univ. of Pittsburg, which, by the way, is a beautiful city. ttle airplane company called Boeing, and had two boys. From 1993-1997, we lived in Tokyo, where my husband, who, by the way, is from Cheyenne of all places, worked as a customer service rep to ANA. In 1997, we were transferred to Amsterdam. In 1999, we headed back to Everett, north of Seattle, where we have lived since.
I sub as a para-educator. I still miss Colorado and drag my family back there every two years.
