Lori's Story

The way I was when we were around each other. If I had something to say, I said it. My favorite way to relax is to just sit at home with my kids and fiance' or to go horseback riding. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have trust, respect, and a radio to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My hero is my 17 year old niece. She has had health problems all her life, and wasn't supposed to make it past 4 months old, but she just keeps going. My other hero is her mother. I don't know anyone else who could handle the things she's had to and still be so strong, including myself. I've dealt with health issues with both my kids, but not as much as she has. I have lived in Missouri and here in the Lafayette area. My immediate family lives here for the most part. I love my dog. That would have to be one of my obsessions...she's like one of my kids. My biggest surprise in life would have to be having my two children and finding my soul mate...which by the way I never used to believe in. I've learned a lot from my kids, but one of the biggest things. is that I can't expect more from them than I expect from myself. I would love to see my old health teacher Mrs. Korschott...now Mrs. Smith again, just because s...Expand for more
he was an awesome teacher and she was my favorite. If I won $100 million, I'd give part of it to charity, then spend the rest on family, friends and traveling. To be truly happy, I would be at Graceland with my fiance' and two children seeing the sights. My current age is 38. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be boring. I was so completely wrong. I am not working at this time, but I am going to school. My best friend would tell you I'm psycho in a good way, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as unpredictable. I still wear my blue jeans and t-shirts. I share my home with children and my dog, which I find never dull. I don't have any trophies, but I did get voted student of the quarter for this last quarter. With one do-over, I would finish high school...not get my GED and go straight to college. In 10 years, I hope to be Living comfortably. I'm going to get there by graduating college and starting my career. What would surprise everyone at my high school reunion is probably the fact that I am back in school. My first job was at McDonald's, where I got paid next to nothing to do everything. What I remember most about it is telling them to stick it.
