Lori's Story
My husband and I moved to Northern Virginia in December, 1978 and escaped the wrath of Chicago's brutal blizzards during the 1978-1979 Winter, although we got our share of heavy snowfall that February.
Prior to my real estate career, from 1981 through 1992, I worked as a legal secretary-paralegal in a law office in Leesburg, Virginia.
From 1989 through 1992, I was co-owner of Red Fox Realty, a real estate brokerage in Leesburg, Virginia.
In 1992, I joined Long & Foster Real Estate, headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia. In addition to other designations, I earned my Virginia Associate Broker's license in 2001 and my Maryland Associate Broker's license in 2005.

ve owned numerous power boats, starting with a 16 ft. wooden boat which he owned when we met, and we eventually moved up to a 38' Sea Ray Sundancer. We enjoy taking it for long trips down the Potomac River and into the Chesapeake Bay.
Vacations are typically spent chartering a 42-58 ft sailboat in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, often introducing the beautiful scenery & waters to friends. Usually, we manage to get some scuba diving in as well.
My father retired and moved to Sturgis, South Dakota so I make annual trips to Sturgis to visit him and act the tourist, checking out new places to see and things to do. Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse are must-sees as well as Deadwood.
