Lori's Story

Life Lori Kaye Lori Kaye is a writer/producer/director, whose extensive career has included work in print, television, stand-up comedy and film. As Executive Producer of Bravo’s hit show, “Work Out,” Kaye was excited to break new ground in the world of reality television. Developing the series from concept to completion, the series garnered the type of great ratings to make it a new network franchise. Most recently Kaye completed development and production on “First Class All The Way” a new docu-soap for Bravo set in the world of a high travel agency that provides exclusive, one-of-a kind travel for their wealthy clients scheduled to premiere in 2008. Kaye also recently completed a stint as Executive Consulting Producer for the LOGO series “Curl Girls” where she helped develop the docu-soap about the lives and loves of a group of lesbian surfers. As Executive Producer of “The Ride: 7 Days To End Aids,” a documentary series for LOGO, Kaye combined reality and documentary formats to tell the Aids stories of those who volunteer their time and bodies to bicycle 585 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for HIV and AIDS programs. In a compelling way, the series puts a face on the state of Aids today. As a show runner, Lori has been co-executive producer for “The Ross Show” starring the flamboyant Ross Mathews, (“The Tonight Show”,) for Bravo, the estrogen-fueled “Girlfriend Intervention” for TLC and Brian Graden’s pet project for MTV, the dark and twisted reality experiment “Homewrecker”. Her stint as co-executive producer for the Emmy nominated “Kathy Griffin: My D-List Life” also for Bravo was short-lived but provided Lori with enough material for her own act.
