Lori's Story
My life took a sudden change in 1974, a year before I would have graduated. I was so looking forward to graduation and not graduating with my class was the biggest disappointment of my life. I became pregnant and chose to have my baby and leave Middletown High. I got married in the fall of 1974, to Steve. We then left Middletown, MD in 1979, for jobs in California. Hard to believe we both still work for the same company today. We live in a rural area of Nevada called Gardnerville not far from Reno. We have two wonderful children that we couldn't be more proud of. Thomas and Danielle. We'll be grandparents in October 09. I have been married to Steve, now been 35 years. Steve is also from Middletown and graduated with the class of 1974. Everyone new him as Steve (Wally) Harrison then. We both worked at Wally's Pizza in Middletown during high school....Expand for more
I am a Senior VP of EBMC, a real estate property management company with 11 different offices serving CA and NV. We have approx. 500 employees. Steve has served as President of the company since 1998. I hold six real estate related designations and have been honored with a number of professional awards over the years. I teach and speak on real estate related topics across the US for the Institute of Real Estate Management and today I serve as a Senior Vice President of the Institute. Professionally, I'm very fortunate. I have done very well over my career. I work hard and life couldn't be better. I thank God for watching over us. We truly have been blessed. For fun, Steve and I four-wheel drive everywhere and anywhere. Best jeep expedition so far...a ten-day jeep trip through Copper Canyon Mexico. All my best to the class of 1975.
