Lori's Story
I went to school in Brawley California, 1st grade thru my Junior year in High school. I played clarinet in the band, and saxophone in jazz band. My dad was Mr Robinson, the math teacher (the cool one). When my dad found out he had MS, they decided for the benefit of him, we should move to a higher altitude, so we moved to Riverton Wyoming. After all, I was actually born there :/ I finished my High School at Riverton High, I was a cheerleader my Senior year, although I'm not sure why. I never could remember the cheers. I married right after High School and moved to Canada and had my first child, Ashley (she's now 24, and has two boys). I divorced and later married again and had two more children, Kodi (age 12), and Kiley (age 10). I later divorced again. I've decided that I'm happiest by myself. I have a very special friend, named John, who I dated seriously, was going to get married, and then thought...ughh no....not marriage again. Although we went thru some rough times he is there for me, he is great, and I'm thankful for him. He is truly what a best friend is. My dad has passed away, from complications of his MS, and I truly truly miss him. My mom, she lives in Riverton, and I don't care to ever go back there again. Let's just say there's a part of me that will stay...Expand for more
hidden. I live with my dog Toby, and my two cats Stempy and Cupid, and my two youngest kids. I absolutely love animals, and my brothers will still tell you how they used to call me Elly Mae. How they used to flip my double chin and say "FLANG!". My nickname from them was Porridge Poop. Nice brothers huh? I love them though. I remember riding my ten speed to school, and how that one black kid would always torture me when I came down his street, I still hate you! Whoever you were. I'm sure you ended up in prison or something. I found out I had breast cancer in December of 2007. I did the whole chemo and radiation thing, and am now getting ready almost two years later for a bi-lateral mastectomy, with reconstruction of course. I'm terrified, although I try to be strong, there's times when I just break down and cry. I guess that's healthy though, to get it out. I work in a doctor's office as a receptionist. I love my job, and I love the people I get to talk with daily. You never realize how short life is, until it stares you in the face. To all my friends, I rarely come here, so look me up on facebook under Lori Robinson Davis. Believe in yourself, live every day like it were your last, love those around you, be thankful, and let go of the drama and those who create it.
