My Pets
His name is Bear - he is a 2 1/2 yr old Lhasa Apso; named by his breeder because he looked like a teddy bear at birth. He is my best bud! I was fresh out of a long-term relationship during which my cat of 6 yrs was killed. I loathe to replace her so we agreed to take him home from a 5yr old's bday party - what a party favor he has been. The best early warning system on earth - walk in and he'll take off under the bed!
My Kids
My son's name is Riley, will turn 10 in January 2001. He is a natural athlete, excelling as a linebacker (all 67 lbs of him) in football, quite a dynamite soccer player (so all the parents on bench indicated), and now wishing he could dunk the ball in the basket! His ADHD is quite a challenge some days, however we are very proud of his recent straight B's grade card!
My daughter was 8 in August 2000, her name is Brianna Nicole. She is artsy and quite the music lover. Part tomboy - soccer, basketball, playing in the woods/creek,...Expand for more
and keeping up with her ever challenging brother. Her greatest pride, however, is her grades. Although she is still in primary school (3rd) she recently had a straight A grade card. No wonder, she tested out of K-garten but we didn't promote believing it would be a detriment to her brother to have her in the same grade. Brianna is an absolute blessing! Such a fresh air breeze (nearly) all the time.
My Job
A Blessing! I thoroughly enjoy my job. I am a Contract Negotiator for a large IT Services firm. The contracts I write/negotiate are between my company and our suppliers under which products are acquired for use by our 130K+ employees and/or to support our 9K clients. I deal with contract labor, administrative services, hardware and, specialize in software (my passion!). Sometimes I dream about warranties, proprietary rights indemnifications and limitations of liability. I get great satisfaction in my job - especially in dispute resolutions (imagine that!!!).
