Lori's Story
I left Waterford High a year early and started college thinking I'd get a jump start on my efforts to be Jacques Cousteau's right hand woman. That didn't work out as well as planned as I got married in 1978, had my first child in 1979, and spent the next 20 years as a military wife traveling around the country. During that time, I raised 3 kids and eventually graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in education. So much for my Calypso dreams! ied. I've been teaching 4th and 5th graders in a rather low soci-economic school for the last 9 years. I am currently out of the classroom and am employed as an instructional strategies coach which simply means that I work with teachers on improving/refining their teaching practice. My free time is spent relaxing with family, reading, and paddling my outrigger.
I know we're all close to 50 now and our memories might not be as sharp as they used to be, but if you even vaguely remember me....I'd love to hear from you!
