Lori's Story
Life
After high school, I met the love of my life and in 1982, we had Courtney Adielle Wiggins, on Feb 7. One year later I was offered a job at SPSM where I worked until I moved to Las Vegas, Nv., in Sept of l985. Jim (Court's dad) died in Sept of 1987. I worked at So. Desert Correctional Center, as a corrrectional officer until my back prevented me from doing so anymore. I was married June 8th, 1990 to Ben Phillips and we had daughters Elise and McKenna (Feb 26th 1991 and Feb 10th, 1992). I moved back to Jackson in Sept. of 1991 and Ben and I divorced in June 0f 1995.

1 my big brother Mark, which some of you might remember, died. He was not in New York, though.
After Mark passed away, my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and she passed away on Feb 28th, 2005. But my dad is still hanging in there. Courtney graduated in 2000 and is living in Detriot with her fiance and will be getting married in Oct, this year. Elise is in 11th grade and McKenna is in the 10th grade. I am currently working a small part time job at an elementary school, and trying to go back to one of my other first loves which is writing. I have several books in me and am trying to get them down on paper and into art. Hopefully one will be published soon.
