Lori Adams's Story
Life
It's hard to believe it's been so many years since we graduated! After graduation I went to Nebraska College of Hair Design and spent a few years cutting hair. During that time I met my husband. He was had recently enlisted in the Air Force and was waiting for his scheduled entry to basic training. We were engaged within a few months and got married in Mississippi while he was completing his technical school. He intended to get some training and then get out and "get a real job." We were given orders to Offutt (in Bellevue) for his first assignment. I continued to cut hair until our son was born a few years later. When our son was a year old we were given orders to Germany. During our three years there we spent weekends traveling and touring castles. We saw several countries and countless castles and learned a lot about history, oh, yea¿and how to pick out a good bottle of white wine.

ed that the Air Force was going to be his career. We bought a home in Bellevue, where we still live. When our son was nine our daughter was born...no, she was not an ¿oops baby¿ or a mistake...she was very much wanted and we had waited nine long years for her.
My husband retired from the Air Force a few years ago and I am very proud of him. I went back to school and got my Bachelor's Degree in Management and I have a job that I enjoy in local government. Our son is in college working on his Bachelor's Degree and our daughter in 7th grade. I enjoy cooking, writing, and spending time with our kids, family, and friends.
School
If I could do it all over again, would I? I'd probably say NO thanks. I prefer to live for today rather than living in the past. High School isn't always kind, and I wouldn't want to do that again. Besides, I was way too shy back then, (although people who know me now find that very hard to believe), and I wouldn¿t want to be that shy again.
