Life
Geez, where to start? Went straight to the UW and graduated in '91 with a BS in psych. What do you do with that, you ask? Nothing practical. So I went to grad school at Western and earned my Masters in psych in '94 (not the touchy-feely psych, just psych in general...yes, they actually have a program for that). Surely, that had to be useful, you say. Uh not really.
Worked at Children's Hospital for about 5 years in research. During that time was dating now-husband from afar (him in Minnesota, then San Diego, then Minnesota again). Finally got tired of the long-distance relat...Expand for more
ionship thing so I found a job at the U of Minnesota and moved out there. Lived there for 5+ years and in that time got married and had our daughter.
We always knew we didn't want to stay there long-term and when I got pregnant we decided we were gong to move back to Seattle as soon as we could. Well, it didn't happen as quickly as we would have liked but we finally got back here in Sept of '06.
I decided when we moved back here to be a stay-at-home mom and am enjoying it for the most part. I am currently fighting off the whole brain-going-to-mush thing but am hanging in there.
