Life
Once Upon A Time... I lived in Des Plaines... I remember discovering mountains when I was in 8th grade and visited Austria. From then on, I knew that I would improve my "altitude"! That dream became a reality in 1990. I discovered Colorado packed up my dogs and moved! Here I have grown up, left geek-dom behind, and had the happiest days of my life! I really haven't changed that much. I just found a venue that suits me and brings out the best in me. I did my changing in high school. By the time I was 21, I was incredibly set in my ways. I am now happily married (that only took 36 years!) and have a terrific son (oops, did that before the married thing) In December, 2001, my husband and I bought our dream home. I was ready to be a Mom before I was ready to be married. Sean was born in January, 1992 and is the best of both my brother, Brian, and I. Smart and funny like Brian, outgoing, optimistic and fun loving like me.
In 1998, I met my husband, Russ Moreland. He is an incredible husband and father, who supports all my crazy dreams. He gave me my first Newfoundland, Magic. He bought me my dream log cabin in the mountains, and put my antler chandelier in it. He funds my new passion, Pet Empawrium & Spaw, and helped me raise my first litter of Newfoundlands, and even let me keep Olookun!
I know, sounds cheesy, but I feel like I am the happiest, luckiest person in the world!
