Lori's Story
Life
I was only able to go to East for part of my Freshman year, and then had to leave. I then finished my high school years at LaFollette. It was hard leaving East, considering I grew up with everyone that went to Gompers. But shortly after getting to LaFollette I met John. I've been with my high school sweet heart, John, for 22 years now, 12 of them as husband and wife. We have two beautiful girls, 10 years old and 5 years old. Our lives revolve around them. l Scout Leader for both of their troops, which are 5th grade Juniors (w/12 girls in the troop) and Kindergarten Daisys (w/8girls in the troop). I'm also a 5th grade Sunday School teacher. (Long time friend Wendy Borreson-Porter-Brown is my co-leader and co-teacher for G.S. and Sunday School.) Doesn't that blow you away!! Both girls are also in Karate, which we are very involved with also. There's still many more years of kid things left for us to do. I don't think I'll ever be able to rest.
