Wow! Alhambra HS seems like such a long time ago, oh wait, it was a long time ago!
I have been married for 19 out of the 24 years since graduation to a wonderful guy whom I met at GCC my first year in college. Our son James is now 17, a Jr. in high school & plays the drums in the marching band so I spend a lot of hours doing "band mom duty" and wouldn't trade it for anything. James & I are Rock Band/Guitar Hero addicts which drives my husband crazy. He is just jealous because we rock and have serious skills (inside joke that those who play will get). My band name is "Sexual Chocolate" which is from one of the best 80's movies. Anyone know what movie it is from? Nope, I'm not saying which one, try to guess! Beverly Hills Cop.
I have been working at Paradise Valley Golf Course for over three years as the food & beverage manager and in the golf industry for 11 years. My son works a couple days a week with me and the two of us are taking full advantage of our free golf privileges. It is a fun job and I have gotten to play some realy great courses like Pebble Beach, Quintero, Phoenician, Biltmore, Troon, TPC Scottsdale, Glen Abby in Canada and this summer we are planning a trip to Europe and my husband says we are going to play St. Andrews if that is the only thing we do while we are there. Well that & look for the lockness monster.
