Loriena's Story

This is my story.... I got married my senior year of high school to Kevin Waldrop in Jan 1984. My son (John) was born May 1984 He is now 25 yrs old and has recently graduated from Lee University in Tennessee. He just moved back home after 6 yrs... My daughter Kaytie was born Aug 1990. She recently graduated from Msvl Pilchuck. Last summer she got a job in Eastern washington and she packed up her stuff and moved into a studio cabin near Crescent Bar. She didn't know anyone over there... "I wished I had that kind of free spirit.." she did a lot of growing over the summer. She recently got a job back here and she moved back to Msvl and is renting an appt with a couple of friends. Wow, I feel old... Feels like yesterday I was there age and raising them. This is there lives now and the future is their's to make of it what ever they want.... Kevin and I divorced in 2000. I feel for anyone that has to go through that. What a mess. Hard on everyone. Even those I had know idea it would effect... That hurt. But ...Expand for more
it was the best decision I ever made. I am better for it. I remarried in Aug of 2006 to my soul mate. He is the most wonderful and caring man I have ever met. I never knew what it was like to be with someone who really loves me... In 1987 I went to ECC and found out that I only needed one more credit to graduate, so I took a class there and graduated in cap and gown with a girlfiend of mine that was graduating from college who I should have graduated with from Arlington Christian School. That was so cool...I worked in a day care till my son was 5yrs old then I got hired on at Cascade Bank in Msvl and stayed with them until my daughter was 18 months old. I lef the bank to go to work for The Everett Clinic. I have been here for 17+ years now. I love my job.... Well, that is about it in a nut shell. My life in the past 25 yrs... ¿Understand that friends come and go, but with a precious few you should hold on. The older you get, the more you need the people who knew you when you were young.¿
