Lorraine's Story

Hi. I traveled a lot all over the good old USA. Had a lot of fun doing it. Since I got married I've settled down to being a home body. We do travel some, but my husband's health is precarious so we don't travel that much anymore. We stay home and take care of our home and dog and cats and I take care of him. I work at Dominick's in Matteson now, plus when a store is remodeled into a Life Style store I travel to it for it's Grand Re-Openin...Expand for more
g. It's fun and I drive all over the northwest suburbs. I had to retire to take care of my husband. His health hasn't been that great. We decided that I should retire because if I went back to work he would have to go into a nursing home. Well lots of things to do around here. Recently lost my husband. It feels so different around here. So quiet. Miss him Having some changes and repairs done to the house. Maybe I'll do some traveling

Happy Father's Day
We lost our beloved Smoki (grey cat) tonight. I found her in the litter box when I went to get her to give her the medicine for her uti. She just fell asleep, took her to emergency vet to check her heart, she was gone. S

We are at the emergency vet with Samson. He has been sick lately and he is suffering. He will be crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Love you Samson
Our Coco is having surgery on Wednesday. She has a stone in her bladder and it keeps getting bigger, it is not shrinking. Need prayers please.

Well, finished putting together Bill's new TV table. Took a few days because bending over really bothered my back. Now I just have to move it to his bedroom. Fun.

Found out today that Melodi has an infection. Started her on antibiotics. Hopefully it does not get worse.

Finally got home from the hospital about 7:15 p.m. Left house this morning about 11:00 a.m. Hand is numb, so I am not feeling anything in my hand. Pain tomorrow.
Had stitches out this past Thursday. Looking good.
