After 32 years with Colgate-Palmolive Company in New York City I retired and we moved to our country house in upstate New York-Delhi. Delhi is very similar to Omak and is a college town - SUNY (State University of New York). We have 6 acres with two dogs, o...Expand for more
ne cat,and 2 minihorses. I work as a substitute in the local Central School - elementary, middle or high school - a couple days a week and am active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. We are enjoying our retirement, children and grandchildren.

Local wildlife Friday night stroll down the neighbor’s driveway. Usually six to eight deer 🦌 and a bakers dozen of wild turkeys 🦃 but never a bear 🐻 OMG!!
Although the current temperature says summer, autumn has definitely arrived in my neck of the woods. Colorful leaves are every where.

Today’s harvest and will probably be the last. Our night time temperatures are hovering in the mid to upper 40’s which is slightly cooler than these vegetables like. We will savor these for sure! Still have spaghetti squas
