Lorraine's Story
Life
After graduation I went to work for Sears and went into their accounting department. I've been doing bookkeeping ever since. I've worked for Angelus Furniture until they closed. Then went to work for Ostrin & Ostrin, an auction company. Stayed with auction companies until 1986. One of the auctioneers was also in advertising, so I went to work for him learning typesetting, but still doing bookkeeping. I now work for a Business-to-Business agency in Cerritos where I still do the bookkeeping, media buying, proofreading and anything else the boss lady wants to put on me. The agency will be closing March 31, 2009. Think I'll take early retirement and just work part time.
Got married in 1966 to Del Abercrombie and had a daughter, Ann ...Expand for more
and son, William. I have two grandchildren by my daughter. Divorced in 1973. Remarried in 1983 to Robert Hastings.
Bob and I loved to cruise. Been on four so far: Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and Western Carribean. Another love is the yearly trip to Yosemite with family and friends. We also did a lot a traveling in the bowling arena.
I'm an Amateur radio operator (KK6CG). I love to bowl and am in one league at New Yorba Linda Bowl. I'm President of the Orange County 500 Club and a director of the Orange County USBC.

Sadly Bob passed away July 3, 2007. Shortly after, I joined Grace Lutheran Church in Huntington Beach.
I often wonder what happened to the friends I had in high school. Now maybe I can reaquaint with some of you.
