Lorraine's Story

Life Went to Valley (71-74), then SDSU, graduating in 1978 with a music degree. I married my husband in 1979 at St. Anne's, and we have 3 children, Ryan, Autumn, and Killoran. Courtesy of my son, I have a granddaughter, Teegan, who was born in 2003. My oldest daughter got married in 2008 and I now have a grandson, Kiernan, born in 2010. , in 1996. I worked as a medical transcriptionist for more than 25 years but was laid off in 11/2010 when the transcription department was closed and our jobs were sent to India. I'm now making plans to go back to school for a new career, although I haven't decided exactly what I want to be yet. Other than the ocean, I don't really miss Kalifornia and rarely go there.
