Lorraine's Story

Life Being an Army "brat," I've moved a lot. Then, I married an Army officer and traveled around even more. We lived at West Point, NY, Washington DC, Hawaii, Florida and Colorado. My son, Mike, was born in Ft. McPherson, GA, and I was a stay-at-home Mom for many years. I entered into Civil Service at Pearl Harbor, HI, 24 years ago and have worked for 5 Federal agencies. For the past 15 years, I've been with the FAA and am Executive Assistant to the Manager of Denver Center. It's a great job and I'm lucky my home is 6 minutes from work. My life is busy with travel, dancing, ga...Expand for more
rdening, working out and keeping my little white dog supplied with "cookies." I got my advanced SCUBA certification and plan to try out new dive locations since I've already been to Cozumel 6 times. No grandkids, yet. My son Mike got married August 28, 2005,to Christina McArthur of Denver. She is a lovely person. On October 6, 2004, I lost my mother, Anna, to Alzheimer's Disease. My dad has moved here to Colorado. I'm surprised he likes it here so much after living in Florida for 30 years. We try to keep our wonderful climate a secret as too many folks are moving here as it is.
