Life
Hello Former Graduates,
It has been quite a journey from the days of LPHS.
I am living in the Bay area and enjoying life. My two children have become wonderful, intelligent, and all around great college students. My son, Robbie is now 21 (Yikes!) and is majoring in German. He plans on becoming a Teacher. My daughter Amanda is 19 and enjoying her second year at USF. She is majoring in Media Studies. It really is hard to believe how fast the time has gone since I left La Puente.
I work for NASA as the Operations Manager for the Ames Exploration Encounter (which is a Space/Science Program for students in the 4th through 6th grade) at Moffett Field. ...Expand for more
I am having a great time there. It is quite different then my teaching days at Cantwell! At least I won't have to worry about any of the students throwing my pet newt out the window! Although they would have access to parachutes and rockets!
I keep in touch with a few of my old high school friends and hear about what's going on in La Puente through them. Although my parents have passed away, my sister Rosemary (Class of 74) lives near me with her husband and 3 children. My brother Paul (Class of 78) lives in Walnut with his wife and two children.
