Lorraine's Story
Hi, all. I stayed in OH for awhile, finishing a BA in biology and then a Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Chemistry, with a patent filed for ovarian cancer therapy. I moved back to NY and now, after a decade, am Vice President of Business Development and Program Managment for Early Clinical Research Business Development for a global research firm. My focus is working with companies to design and execute the clinical trials required for FDA drug approval and internationally in the EU.

cticut and we met at my first job after my Ph.D., where I ran several laboratories. He interviewed me, but thankfully was not my boss! It was quite the surprise when we announced an engagement and then both changed jobs.
Time goes very quickly, but we fill it with travel and friends. We live in a house close to the woods and the NYC suburbs, which is hard to find. We keep busy with family in NYC, upstate and in Philly. I go back to OH to see my friends from my Ph.D. research lab at the Cleveland Clinic while maintaining an international travel schedule.
