Lorraine's Story
Hi everyone,
It so funny how things happen in our lives, but I am back living in good old Oxford. Actually, I live in Leo Deaver's old house.
After graduation I went to West Chester Univ. to study sports medicine. Found out that I don't do well will blood and pain ( Pass out- never good for your trainer to pass out). Left Junior year and took a job as a manager for Domino's in Newark. Then to New Jersey and in 86 to New Haven, Connecticut. Met my future husband in CT. Left Domino's to get into retail management. Married in 90, first son (Ryan) was born 9 mos later in 91. Back to college for me- working on teaching degree. Second son (Justin) came in 92- busy time! Finis...Expand for more
hed school- degrees in psychology and elementary ed in 97- third son (Spencer) was also born that summer.
Sadly divorced in 2000, and moved back to Oxford in 2001. I now teach in Rising Sun- 3rd grade and have completed my Master's in Special Ed. I am currently working on my PHD- I kinda love school!
Ryan will graduate from OAHS this year- he has Mr. Bradley, has had Farmer, and Fritch. Ms. Mlodoch is still there too, as well as Mrs. Brady. My son Justin will graduate next year and his favorite teacher is Brumbach!
I am considering getting a job there myself, that would be cool. The new High School is AMAZING!
