Lorraine's Story
Hi,
Life is always full of surprises and mine happened in my own living room in 1973 when I met the guy who would become my husband of these past 42 years. We have three children. Our oldest son Dan is a medevac pilot for the Army and has served in many areas to include his latest tour in Afghanistan. He is married and remains in the Military. Our Middle son, Nick did three tours in Iraq as a medic and is now part of the army national guard and is a police officer, married, and father to our first grandchild, a lovely little girl. ctively working and looking towards retirement in a few years. As for me, I was able to get into my field of interest, Nursing and have been a Registered Nurse working in various areas as a Director of Nursing. I too look forward to retiring soon and moving into our home in Kansas. I hope all of you have been blessed in your lives, as I have to be in love with such a good man even after all these years and looking forward to more grandchildren and the next phase of our lives. It will feel good to be settled after traveling all over the world as well as the United States these past years with the Army, but it's been a good ride and we would not have changed it for anything.
