Lorrie's Story

Life I could even begin to write down my life bio. It would take volumes. Let's just say it's been an crazy adventure, in all kinds of ways. Just glad at my age to settle down, get married and enjoy the rest. Whew.. took me a long time and I had to kiss "a lot" of toads to find my prince, but I'm finally happier than I have ever been in my life. Ok so Trish Curtin and I just went to a Squeeze/Cheap Trick Concert in Boston 8/1/07, the first time we saw them was the URI in 1984... now I feel officially middle-aged.. Everyone there was our age...It was a very surreal moment. Needless to say we had a blast, danced the entire time and it was a night to remember.. I think I have the fever again for concert going.. I hope to see you all at the reunion July 19th 2008 at the Mystic Aquarium. I am sure it will be a night to remember and truly a blast! It's now been 3 years since I've added my original story into my Classmates prof...Expand for more
ile. Since then the discovery of Face book has lead me on a mission to gather friends and try to make sure we don't wait until a funeral or something tragic to bring us together again. My efforts at putting reunions together has been great but my results have been small. I guess everyone doesn't embrace the past the way I do. Every single person that enters our life touches you in some way. Good, bad or indifferent. It's all part of who we once were, who we are now and, who we hope to be. 2009- Frequently traveling on business is a way of life for me now. Nashville, New Orleans, San Antonio, Orlando, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Boston. We live in an amazing place and I'm just glad to have the opportunity to see it for myself. The plan is to retire and take on Europe next. Let's hope business is good I have a 10 year plan ! I love my husband Jack, my dogs Wu Wu and Bear and my family and friends. Who could ask for anything more.
