Lorrie's Story

WOW! Nearly 25 years since high school. What a scary concept! Since 1985, so much has changed. After Davies, I did the CCRI thing and then went to work for a living. AT FAR every day to get to work! Out of all the things in my life, I am most proud of my son. He brings me joy every day and makes me realize just how blessed I am in this life. Through him I get to see things again for the first time and relearn all sorts of things that as adults we take for granted. Quick example...baseball. As an adult you just know first, second third & home ... infield vs outfield ... pitchers mound vs. batters box. Josh played t-ball for the first time this year and the first practice, the coach actually was 'teaching' them the bases & positions. It was such an eye-opener for me since I just 'know' these things but forgot that at some point in time, I had to learn them too. THAT IS PROBABLY THE COOLEST THING ABOUT BEING A PARENT!
