Louis's Story
Life
Born and educated in New York City, the capital of the world, Lou Rose received an early education in music that could only be obtained in that great metropolis public school system. After moving upstate, Louis opted to spend most of his time in chorus and music appreciation classes to the neglect of other high school fare. That is, when he was not skipping school entirely to perform in local Community Theater. After his election to Christianity in 1975, Lou decided to abandon a largely futile entertainment career and utilize his peculiar musical talents solely for the Lord. tionalist, Roman Catholic, Nazarene, Seventh Day Adventist, Italian Pentecostal, Assembly of God, Presbyterian (USA), Presbyterian (PCA), United Methodist, Plymouth Brethren, Pentecostal Holiness, Four Square Gospel, and in various other ersatz so-called "non-denominational" venues. Most recently, Mr. Rose resides in Jacksonville, Florida, with his lovely wife Jamy, where he is recovering from a multi-year engagement with the elite choir of the Redlands Presbyterian Church (PCA), under the direction of Michael Roy Eaton. Louis is learning to play "Nola" on the recorder, which he plans to perform on street corners during his declining years in order to supplement what is anticipated to be a meager retirement income.
