Louis's Story
Life
I lost over 180 lbs after high school and worked for Photographic Arts of the Quad Cities. I then moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to run a Photographic studio And Sports business. I then moved to California to attend Brooks Institute of Photography. While in school, I won a national award for photography and placed 2nd in our school competition as a freshman; I was the first to ever the competition's 40-plus-year history. I graduated with honors from Brooks in December of 2004 and returned to the Quad Cities and went to work for The Quad City Times.

ter 9/11; we have Kids and a very rambunctious 3-year Boxer named Java.
In 2016 I moved to Florida for work. We then moved to Charleston, Sc, where I work as the Official Photographer at The Citadel. During my time there, I won 7-national/international awards as One of the top College photographers in the world. We have since relocated back to Florida, where I'm currently employed at the University of Florida, working at UF Health in the Heath Science Center (IE) Hospital as a medical photographer.
I've been published in Sports Illustrated; I photographed the covers for two international books.
