Louis's Story
It's been a long time. I've been at Southern California Edison for 31 years and hope to retire next year. I became a Journeyman Lineman for SCE in 1991. It's been hard at times, but it's been a good job. I've always enjoyed working outside and with my hands. I'm really lucky to have a job I enjoy.
I met my wonderful wife in 1990 and will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in September. We live here in Irvine, CA, and raised two boys (stepsons) who are both married and doing well with their job careers. I just found out that I will be a grandfather in December.

t our place in Lake Havasu, boating and just relaxing. In the winter, we like to spend time out at Glamis camping and riding the dunes. I also enjoyed racing Vintage Motocross which I did from the late 80's til a few years ago. As they say, with age comes the cage, so now I race Class 12 buggies at the NORRA 1000 race in Mexico.
After I retire, I look forward to traveling around the country, as well as being in Lake Havasu and Glamis, as well as spending more time with my wife, kids, and grandkids.
Favorite saying: "I take life with a grain of salt. But then again, at times a shot of good tequila doesn't hurt!"
