Louis's Story
I didn't graduate LHS as my Dad was transferred to Dallas in August 1963 by his employer. Even though I graduated in Dallas, I still (50 years later) consider Lakewood to be my hometown. In these most formitive years (grades 5-11), I adopted a work ethic and love of learning which led to a successful accounting career. have toured the country by motorcoach during the summers. During times in Dallas, my wife and I enjoy volunteer work. We have family in Dallas and Detroit, including six wonderful grandchildren. Regretably, I never had an opportunity to return to Lakewood for any period of time, but three short visits helped recall many happy days in Ohio. It was a great place to grow up!
