Louis's Story
I live in Tinley Park, IL. Tinley started as a railroad stop and farming community and became a suburb of Chicago in the late 60's. It has two claims to fame. The WLS broadcast tower is here and it was the home of Tony Bettenhausen, race driver,
I spent most of my work career in industrial maintainence, the last 15 or 20 years as a lift truck mechanic. That means I have seen the back side of just about every factory in the area.

anic and went to the Lutheran Seminary in Ft. Wayne, IN. I graduated in 2000 and was called to a church on the south side of Chicago. I have been there since.
I am married to Marlene (Alund). We met when she was a student at Valparaiso U. We married in 1965 and have 2 grown children: Louis III, who is currently teaching at Ivy Tech in Lafayette, IN and Ted who is an engineer with Northup-Grumman in Orlando, Fl.. Ted is married and has a son, Dominick, 12 years old.
