Louise's Story
Life
After high school, I attended college in Reno for two years before getting married. After taking several years off to start my family (3 kids), I returned to college at Boise State University and finally got my B.A. in 1971. I taught junior and senior high school English and reading and most recently was district librarian for a small school district in SW Washington. My husband and I live in a very small town near Mt. Rainier in Washington state, and my kids are scattered throughout the west: one in...Expand for more
San Diego, one in south-central Idaho, and one in Spokane, Washington. In 2004 I retired and it seems that I am now busier than ever, but I absolutely love retirement. The most exciting experience I have ever had was spending a month in France with my son last fall. We found the birthplace of my grandfather and even met a cousin I never knew I had. It was the trip of a lifetime, and we became acquainted with some wonderful people. My dream is to return to France and live there for at least six months.
