Louise's Story
Howdy to all. Let me seeeeeeee....what was memorable about High School? Loved being best friends with Maureen Church......(hi, Mo) and that's pretty much it. Didn't someone say that we spend a considerable amount of our adult lives getting over High School? Not!
After most of my adult life on the east coast, am living in Reno, NV. 2 masters degrees, Therapist in an Adolescent Residential Treatment programm, involved in mental health and substance abuse policy making at state level.
Daughters are all grown and successful. Bridget is a Veterinarian in Corpus Christi and Bronwen is awaiting
admission to Tx A & M Veterinary school.She is a veteran of Iraq and Kuwait. Total of 5 grandchildren. Active active active.

I always wanted to be a psychologist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were dead wrong.
Get the ole sneekers on and hit the hills...start and end each day thus.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my own office, desktop with internet, and privacy to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Cal Ripkin is my hero. Never missed a game, work ethic second to none, involved in community, a role model to perfection. His poster is the first thing I see when I pull into my garage at the end of the day.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the downstairs and add on a n office...Expand for more

If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to the kids and grandkids, then save save save.
Campus life? Excuse me? I was in the Army where barracks life was the Mother of the worst of all dormatory lives. Privacy? Forget it. One time a woman came in after an evening of heavy drinking and mistook my wall locker for the toilet. Enough said.
My current age is 58. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be olefarts. I was so completely right on....not..
I am a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. It's what i always wanted and while there were delays and setbacks, I never relented from this goal.
My best friend would tell you I'm flakey, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as flakey.
Preppy through and through. Jeans are timeless and transcend generations, culture, and financial status.
I share my home with Joe, which I find to be absolutely challenging.
Actually they are in a crate downstairs...daughters and I excelled in Highland Dance during the 80s. We danced and competed all over the country including a week in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Trophies? Medals? We got em. That was yesterday.
In 10 years, I hope to be working in my profession. I'm going to get there by working in my profession.
