Well I never thought I would be one who would get married right after school. Well I did, in 1988. The summer after graduation I found out my mom was sick with breat cancer. She went though a year of treatment and everything seemed fine. The next year I got married and had a baby girl. My mom nerver realy got better. She died a two week after my daughters first birthday. I'm the youngest in my family and the last daughter to get married. I'm lucky she was there for my wedding and the birth of my first child. Still married, 20 years now.(wow) I have two great kids. Erica just turned 20 and is going to Salisbury. My son Curtis is 17 and is a Jr. at South River High School. Thank god they are better student's then I was. (and what they don't know won't kill them). My husband David is a Utility contractor. We lived in the Cape St.Claire for the first six years. Then we built our dream house in the country. We have been livng in Dunkirk Maryland (South County) for fourteen years now. I have been very fortunate I didn't work while the kid's were young. When they were both in school all day I started working. For a year I worked at Niermanweeks. (it's a high end furniture designer) I painted 18th century reporductions and designer strike- offs. I had so much side work I decided to work for myself. So,in my Art Studio at home I paint furniture, custom art, interior design, in home color consults and sometimes I will work...Expand for more
