Lourdes's Story
Thru life I have learned that my passions do change. The inportant ones, all thoae that have touched my life and loved. Some for a season others for a lifetime.
The other passions remain to be the same, a fine bottle of wine to share with a friend,a gourmet romantic meal that we prepare together, a live match of tennis on TV or at the tournament.
This year, June, 2008, I will be in London to observe the grandfather of Grand Slams.
Yes, it is the WIMBILDON. It has been a life long pursuit, watch all the geand slams, two remann, the one in Australia, and the one in Paris. I was present in Paris at another time while they were playing and we were not able to obtain tickets. For those of you that do this,
buy your tickets in advance before you go over seas. I promise to eat strawberri...Expand for more
es with cream while there!!!!LOL!!
Recently I lost a family member and a very close dear friend. I am still at a loss in my heart. I'm aware time will heal and life still goes on. But still there will be a little dimmer and less sparkle.
I am blessed that I was able to say'I LOVE YOU" before they passed away. Tell all those you care about, if they ask you why do I get this honor, tell them just because, I wanted to let you know that.
Don't be ashamed, it can be man to man, woman to woman and of course children too.
It does not mean to be sexual, but a kind, caring, loving feeling in your heart goes out to them. That goes a long way. You won't regret it. I guess you're thinking wow, Lourdes is so sappy. Yeah, I guess I am.
